Purpose: To check the condition of the scalp, the change of oil, the change of the keratin area, and the change of the amount of keratin when sonic vibration and laser function are fused.

Research method: This clinical study was conducted as a single-group pre- and post-experimental design study to verify the efficacy of scalp care and massage using a multifunctional scalp care device developed with a combination of electric current stimulation, low-power laser, and sound wave vibration. The scalp condition, oil change, keratin area change, and keratin quantity change were analyzed before and after using the device.
For this purpose, the multifunctional scalp care device was used for 10 minutes per session, and a total of 10 times were performed. Subjects participating in the study were restricted to keep the shampoo elapsed time constant throughout the study.

conclusion
This clinical study was conducted as an experimental design study before and after a single group to verify the efficacy of scalp care and massage using a multifunctional scalp care device developed with a combination of electric current stimulation, low-power laser, and sound wave vibration.
The scalp condition, oil change, keratin area change, and keratin quantity change were analyzed before and after using the device. As a result, the following conclusions were reached.

As for scalp type, before application of the device, from 5 (20.8%) oily type patients to 4 (16.7%), 4 (16.7%) to 6 (25.0%), dry 12 (50.0%) to 11 patients (45.8%) and 3 patients (12.5%) with sensitivity (12.5%) were investigated. Changes in scalp transparency were observed in 20 patients (83.3%) with poor transparency prior to the experiment.
After using the device, the number of bad subjects decreased, from 6 (25.0%) and 2 (8.3%) average to 16 (66.7%), good 2 (8.3%) to good 2 (8.3%). There was one difference (χ2=24.90, p=.000).
Pre-transparency of scalp pore condition poor 21 (87.5%) to 5 (20.8%), average 2 (8.3%) to 12 (50.0%), good 1 (4.2%) to good 7 (29.8%) It can be seen that the pore condition is improved. Dandruff condition of the scalp Small amount of pre-dandruff in 8 (33.3%) to 12 (50.0%), average 1 (4.2%) patients
The number of subjects with reduced dandruff status increased from 2 (16.7%), most 15 (62.5%) to 8 (33.3%). There was a statistically significant difference (t=13.33, p=.010).

2. As for the change in oil content, the average value of oil content on the right side decreased by 12.04 (±25.73) after the experiment, and there was a statistically significant difference (t=2.29, p=.031). The mean value of the left fraction decreased by 8.97 (± 32.21), but it was not statistically significant (t=1.37, P=.186). The average decrease in total oil content was 21.01 (±46.68) points, and the overall decrease was 34.30%. This also showed a statistically significant difference (t=2.21, p=.038).

3. In the case of keratin change, the size of the keratin becomes smaller and when G0, which has a wide moisturizing area, is evaluated as a decrease in the amount of keratin, it was reduced by 17.26% compared to the value before the experiment. Based on G4, the size reduction of keratin decreased by about 6.5%.
The area reduction rate of keratin decreased by 1.06 on average after the experiment, and the reduction rate decreased by about 2.99%.

4. In the device use satisfaction survey, 13 subjects (54.2%) felt that scalp care had improved, and 7 subjects (29.2%) responded that hair loss was reduced, and some of the participants experienced the effects of the device.
With the application of this device, interest in scalp changes and scalp care has increased, and it is expected that this device will make a positive contribution to customers' scalp health care in the future. However, it is considered that it is necessary to improve the size of the device, the even distribution of sound waves, and the expansion of the application area, reflecting the needs of the participants and the precision of the device.
